𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀 – It is a novel in verse about two sisters Camino in Dominican republic living with her aunt and Yahaira in NYC with her mother not knowing each other’s existence until their father’s tragic plane death.
𝗠𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 – From where should I start Acevedo is such a fantastic author, there was not a single part in the novel which I disliked, Everything was magnificent. I really loved how the relationship between two sisters evolved as I also loved the friendship btw Carline and Camino.
Overall I’m in love with this novel and highly recommending it to you. It’s one of my fav novel so far in this year. And I can’t wait to read Acevedo’s other novels too!
